The Harrington Parent Teacher Association is a vibrant organization of parent volunteers with a mission to promote the health and quality education of our children and foster collaboration between parents, the Harrington school staff and the community. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we rely upon our membership and school-wide fundraising opportunities to sustain educational programs, help deliver new learning experiences to our students, boost social- emotional wellness with a focus on inclusion, and support all Harrington educators.

Announcements
The Harrington PTA helps fund classroom enrichment in the arts and sciences (last year over $12,000 was spent on enrichment alone), provides classroom supplies, teacher grants, and supports community events. It takes approximately $50 per student to make these experiences possible. All donations are tax-deductible and greatly appreciated.
Donating to the PTA is a meaningful way to support our students and school. It provides immediate financial support, keeps you informed, and helps you connect with other families. A $50 or more donation will provide you FREE access to all PTA events for 2026-2027 school year (with the exclusion of HarryPalooza). You will receive an email after your donation that you can use for entry into the events. Click here to donate today!

Open positions needed are:
- VP of Fundraising -Responsibilities: Plan fundraisers to help raise money for PTA (can be restaurant, popcorn ones, Wilson farms, etc
- Event Leads -
Responsibilities: Plan and run an event for the PTA (bingo night, science fair, cultural night, HarryPalooza, or another event you want to see). This is a one night commitment with some prep/planning the few weeks before.

For all volunteer roles at Harrington, a CORI form is mandatory.
- CORIs are valid for three years.
- If you have not recently renewed your CORI, please consider renewing yours before it expires by filling out the Cori Form.
- You must submit this form and then GO INTO the School and present your government issued photo ID and the last six digits of your Social Security number to the main office at the school you select as your primary location at least 5 business days before you will begin volunteering.
